WHAT WE DO

Most pain isn't caused by where it hurts.

We find the real source, then retrain your body so the pain stops coming back.

Why treating the sore spot isn't enough

Treatments that focus on the painful area can bring relief, but it often fades within days. That's because they deal with the effect and not the cause. Many of our clients have been through years of physio, chiro, massage and personal training in Penrith, felt better for a while, but nobody looked at how their whole body moves.

Our Approach

We treat your body as one connected system. We assess how you stand, walk, run and throw; the four movements humans are built for, then use corrective exercise to retrain them. Every exercise we give you ties back to improving those four patterns.

Your First Visit:
The 90-Minute Assessment

You'll leave knowing why you're in pain or why you're not perfoming at your best and what needs to change. We film your movement in slow motion from multiple angles, which shows things that are invisible at normal speed. We cover:
  • Gait Analysis: how you walk and or run. We include checking for pelvic drop, poor rotation, stiffness and compensations. We also check for integration of the lower limbs with the pelvis into the rib cage and how the arms connect with that for movement efficiency
  • Postural Assessment: spinal curves, ribcage and pelvic position and left to right differences.
  • Movement screening: muscles that aren't switching on and the movement patterns your body has built to cope.
  • Diet and Lifestyle: we go over diet and lifestyle factors that have a direct impact on how your body functions. Without this, its impossible to get a good result.
  • Your Plan: a clear roadmap, explained in plain language so you can understand what's happening and why
You Start training straight away. Your first session includes 45+ minutes of corrective exercise and self massage, so you can feel the difference before you leave.

Ongoing Training

Your assessment gives us the roadmap and ongoing sessions are where the changes happen.
  • 1-2 sessions a week, 60 minutes each. Every session builds on the last, step by step.
  • Home exercises to practice between sessions, because the work you do in between matters.
  • Video tracking. We re-film your movement regularly so you can see the change, not just feel it.
  • Weekly guidance and feedback from your coach, whether you train in person in Penrith or online

What's in every program

  1. Corrective Exercise. Using Functional Patterns, you learn to use your body as one connected system, so your muscles, fascia and connective tissue work together as one unit. You'll move with less pain, better posture and more strength.
  2. Self Massage. We teach you to release tight muscles and bound up-restricted fascia with a technique call "Myofascial Release". This will aid in restoring the tissues into a unrestricted pattern so that the corrective exercises can take hold more efficiently. This is done with simple tools, so you can do this at home along with the exercises.
  3. Lifestyle. Chronic Pain rarely comes down to exercise alone. We look at: Nutrition, Sleep and body clock, Stress, inflammation
  4. Education. There's a lot of conflicting advice out there. We focus on the few things that will make the biggest difference for you, explained simply, so you stay in control of your own health.
  5. Support. Regular check-ins, video feedback and a direct line to your coach keep you consistent and on track.
