Meet your Practitioner
Hi, I'm Steve
I’m the founder of Penrith Biomechanics. I help people work out why they’re in pain and retrain their bodies so it stops coming back. I specialise in chronic pain, postural correction, scoliosis and hypermobility, using the Functional Patterns method.
I found Functional Patterns about 6 years ago, while trying to solve some of my own chronic pain problems. I since have gone all in with the methodology training myself in the practice, with my coaches and offering the same service to my clients, in Penrith and online.
"Most of the clients I see have already tried physio, chiro, massage or personal training and felt better for a while before the pain returned"
My job is to looks at how your whole body moves, find where the problem really starts and teach you to fix it, so the change lasts.
How I Work
-
I assess how to stand, walk, run and throw, through the initial assessment, then trace it back to its source.
-
I build your program around your body and your goals, not a generic template.
-
I explain what's happening in plain terms you can understand so you can comprehend what we are doing and why.
-
I stay in touch between sessions with feedback and guidance, so you keep progressing.
